Two prices apply for groups visiting the gardens (prices are per person, please state preferred option on booking):
Option 1 (£27.00): Entrance to the gardens, guided tour with the head gardener or assistant head gardener and light refreshments (tea/ coffee and cake).
Guided visits incorporate most areas of the gardens and take approximately one and half to two hours to complete.
Option 2 (£19.00): Entrance to the gardens, brief introductory talk by a member of staff and light refreshments (tea/ coffee and biscuits).
Brief introductions consist of a 10 minute talk about the gardens, after which you are free to explore at your leisure.
Groups can visit the gardens on Tuesdays without selecting one of the two options and just pay for entry (please state on booking whether you would like refreshments).
Payments are taken on the day of your visit with no deposit required. We accept cash, cheque or bank transfer, & payment by card is available.
Ploughmans lunches + a bottle of water are available as an extra for £14 per person (please let us know on booking if desired).
Please specify when booking if you would like refreshments (tea/coffee and ploughmans lunches) at the start or end of your visit.
Visitors are requested not to bring dogs as they are not permitted (except guide dogs).
Around the gardens and particularly in the main walled garden there are a number of different landscape surfaces, sets of steps and steep pathways. Regrettably, this makes some areas of the garden difficult to access with devices such as wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
Please remember that Broughton Grange is a private garden open to the
public only on charitable open days, guided tours & seasonally on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
