Wild flower meadow

Situated along the western side of the main drive next to a field, this wildflower meadow proves a little haven for wildlife under the partial shade of mature cork oaks (Quercus suber). In addition to wildflowers, tulip bulbs from the spring displays are planted out here in autumn. Together with a little input from one or two flowering tulips, the wildflowers give excellent colour to this part of the garden during spring and early summer.
